The Last Battle is the seventh and final book in The Chronicles of Narnia series, which depicts the final days of Narnia. In the story, a deceptive ape named Shift tricks a donkey into impersonating Aslan, leading to chaos and an unholy alliance between a false Aslan, the Narnians, and the Calormene people. The book culminates in the last battle against this deception, followed by the destruction of Narnia and the souls of the faithful finding their way into a new, eternal Narnia created by Aslan.
