4th Deadly Sin is a novel by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro in the Women's Murder Club series, where Detective Lindsay Boxer must stop a series of violent robberies and murders committed by criminals wearing SFPD windbreakers. As the investigation progresses, Lindsay and her partner begin to suspect that the "Windbreaker Cops" may actually be members of the police force. The book also features a sub-plot where the character Yuki Castellano starts a new job with the Defense League and takes on a case against the San Francisco Police Department, putting her at odds with some of her friends and husband.
