In Sent, the second book in The Missing series, Jonah and Katherine travel to the 15th century to rescue Chip and Alex, who have been sent back to the Tower of London. The friends discover that Chip is actually King Edward V and Alex is his younger brother, Prince Richard, and they must now fix history to prevent their own murders and allow everyone to return home. The boys' identities become more entwined with their "tracers," the historical figures they are impersonating, and Jonah and Katherine must work to separate them before they lose themselves completely.
